The EP “The Lost Ones” was Bloodred’s first attempt at recording in a professional studio and working with internationally experienced musicians.
The foundation stone was laid for all subsequent collaborations, the two songs later appeared again on the album Nemesis. The EP was recorded, mixed and mastered by Alexander Krull (Atrocity, Leaves’ Eyes) at his Mastersound Studios. Joris Nijenhuis (also Atrocity, Leaves’ Eyes) was on the drums, Ron played all other instruments and did the vocals. The artwork was done by Valdimar Örn Matthiasson from Iceland.
